Also known as Ryujin, Cherry, who gained popularity as part of the group Jwiiver, after appearing on TV show Boys24, told fans the news on Instagram Live on Saturday (19 July) “This isn’t a hobby, it’s my life. I’m trans,” the South Korean singer said. “Because I wasn’t an ordinary person, I couldn’t reveal everything from the start. My goal was to take it slow. I’m just going with my goal.” Cherry previously responded to a question about her gender and pronouns, by saying she was OK with being referred to as he/she or they. A married gay couple from London are feared to be among those killed in Thursday’s deadly Air India crash. Former BBC TV show DanceX contestant Jamie Greenlaw-Meek, 45, and his husband Fiongal Greenlaw-Meek, 39, are believed to have been travelling on the aircraft that came down Ahmedabad on Thursday (12 June). The Air India Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner destined for London Gatwick was engulfed in flames after plummeting into a building in the suburb of Ahmedabad, the largest city in Gujarat state, just moments after taking off from Ahmedabad Airport at 10.08 am. The couple, who run a wellness and lifestyle company called The Wellness Foundry, filmed themselves laughing in a post shared on their company’s instagram account just hours before the flight. If you take a trip to Glastonbury’s Block9 this year, you’ll be met with a mural that depicts JK Rowling and an array of notable figures boarding a spaceship to Mars. The mural is part of a collaboration between ‘Block9’ and ‘Led By Donkeys’, a British political campaign group. The installation depicts the likes of Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerberg, Donald Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu sporting orange space suits, boarding a spaceship to Mars. Out gay Democrat Pete Buttigieg is leading in a pool of potential presidential nominees for the party in 2028, a new poll suggests. Buttigieg, the former secretary of transportation in the Biden administration, received the most support out of several big name players in the new poll conducted by Emerson College Polling. The poll asked Democrats to look ahead to the 2028 presidential race and choose who they would support for the Democratic nomination. Alongside Buttigieg, the list included former vice president and 2024 presidential nominee Kamala Harris, California governor Gavin Newsom, New York representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Pennsylvania governor Josh Shapiro, Vermont senator Bernie Sanders, amongst other names. Buttigieg received the most support out of any potential candidate and garnered 16 per cent of the vote, even beating out Harris. Harris received 13 per cent of the vote, followed by Newsom with 12 per cent and Ocasio-Cortez and Shapiro with seven per cent. Most respondents – 23 per cent – said however that they were ‘undecided’. Sophia Hutchins, Caitlyn Jenner's friend and manager, has died in an ATV accident aged 29. Both law enforcement and family sources stated she was pronounced dead at the scene on Wednesday 2 July  after the ATV hit the bumper of another moving vehicle - causing it to 'plummet 350 feet down into a ravine' near the reality star's home. Hutchins was the CEO and director of the Caitlyn Jenner foundation. The two met in 2015 after Jenner announced her transition. One of the UK’s youngest drag queens has attended his prom in a Barbie-inspired drag look with the full support of their school. Alfie Smith, who performs under the name @ESME DOLL | Bristol, UK , claims to be Bristol’s youngest drag queen. The 16-year-old’s desire to attend prom as his authentic self was inspired by the hit musical Everybody’s Talking About Jamie, which was based on the real-life story of a teen drag queen. Alfie told PinkNews that he felt “nervous” on the way to prom and even questioned why he had chosen to go in drag. But, he said, his concerns quickly disappeared the moment he stepped out of the car and was “greeted with cheers, screams, and the biggest round of applause”. “This reaction caused my nerves to fully go and confirmed to me that I went in drag for me and because I love this side of myself,” he shared. Alfie added that he was told he was “inspiring” and felt fully supported by Orchard School Bristol, where both teachers and students offered “endless support”. He said he was around eight years old when he first watched the documentary Jamie: Drag Queen at 16, which was adapted into the musical Everybody’s Talking About Jamie.
