Meet Papas, he was born completely blind but that didn’t stop me from giving him the best day ever. At just 1 & a half years old, he’s already been through so much. But today, he got to feel loved, free, and seen. I found Papas at a sanctuary run by the incredible Tina Marie, who’s dedicated her entire life to rescuing disabled animals and showing them that they’re still worthy of love, joy, and a future. Tina’s work is pure love in action. But she can’t do it alone. Meet Max. He’s 14 years old and battling DIPG, one of the rarest and most aggressive brain cancers. It attacks the brainstem, making it hard to walk, talk, eat, or even breathe. There’s no cure, but Max is currently undergoing clinical trials, holding onto hope for a miracle. Max is more than a diagnosis. He’s funny, kind, and stronger than most adults I know. So we decided to give him a day he’d never forget. I surprised him with his favorite streamer, Marlon, took him to Universal Studios, and gave him a ride in his dream car, a McLaren. His mom Nicole, told us she hasn’t seen him this happy in so long. That moment made everything worth it. But Max’s journey isn’t over. His family is doing everything they can.
