How to improve your swim? ⬇️ I remember my first time swimming I was doing a 400m test… I couldn’t do it without stopping after 15m then I just did breaststroke the whole time. Fast forward to today I am consistently in the 1:30’s. Some hacks i’ve found: - Use Paddles + Pull Buoy on 1 session per week - Focus on your body position in the water (don’t drag your feet) - Get in a rhythm and be patient with your stroke Swimming is a very frustrating sport i’ve found… no matter how “fit” I am or look… It doesn’t translate to swimming. Swim more. Swim faster. I train hybrid while Ironman training ⬇️ Every session is new and has a purpose, whether it’s a run, bike, swim or lift. I believe that strength work is very important for a person training endurance. Having something new on my training calendar gives me a lot of motivation to complete that workout.
