Last night was a tough one… I know. I’d always rehearsed that performance with a close-up camera circling me on stage from the front… eyes open, intimate, connected. Seeing the camera start completely behind me at my back instead, definitely took away from the design and purpose of that performance, but it ultimately would reenforce the feedback to come from the judges that would seal my fate…. That’s live TV for you! WE ROLL WITH IT AND KEEP ROCKING🤘🎸 No matter how the night ended, I’m proud of what I gave on that stage.…. and yes, I was at the beginning of the show AGAIN (LOL) but it was just me, on my knees, giving everything I had to that moment. Raw and real. I feel really proud to have shared my soul with the world in this way. Reading your messages since last night has meant the world to me. I was at the beginning of the episode before this one too and as so many of you have shared, it wasn’t easy having to wait three hours after my performance to vote for me, especially on Easter Sunday. But so many of you still showed up for me. That kind of love and support doesn’t go unnoticed, and I feel it in my heart. This isn’t the end just the beginning of a new chapter. I’m ready for whatever’s next. Your love, kindness, and generosity have carried me, and I truly believe the best is still ahead.
