Crush up the biscuits using a food processor. Add them to a bowl with the along with the m&ms, condensed milk and butter. Mix until all combined. 2. Line a 24cmx13cm baking tray and add the mixture. 3. Spread the melted chocolate on top and leave in the freezer for 1 hour to set. 4. Once set slice up and store in the fridge. 12 days of Christmas recipes 🎄 Day 7: baked brie bread bowl 🤍 #ingredients 1 sourdough cob loaf or regular cob loaf 200 g brie 150 g diced bacon 1 1/2 tbsp honey thyme olive oil #method 1. Preheat oven to 180°c and line a baking tray. 2. Cut the top off the cob loaf and hollow out the centre to the size of the brie. 3. Cut the sides of the bread to create pull apart pieces leaving the bottom intact. 4. Pan fry the bacon until crispy. Cut the top off the brie and add into the bread along with the honey, bacon and thyme. 5. Add the bread to the baking tray along with the top of the sourdough and pieces removed from the centre. Drizzle over some olive oil and add salt and pepper. 6. Bake for 20 minutes or until the cheese has melted and the bread is golden. Serve warm from the oven. 12 days of Christmas recipes 🎄 Day 2: Whipped feta and roasted tomato dip 🍅 #Ingredients roasted tomatoes: 250 g cherry tomatoes 2 tbsp olive oil 2 cloves of garlic finely chopped 2 tsp mixed dried herbs salt and pepper whipped feta dip: 250 g feta cheese 3 tbsp greek yoghurt 2 tbsp olive oil salt and pepper fresh basil to serve toasted bread or crackers to serve #method 1. Preheat oven to 180°c. Add the tomatoes into a baking dish along with the olive oil, garlic and seasonings. Mix and bake for 20-25 minutes or until the tomatoes are cooked. Set aside to cool slightly. 2. While the tomatoes are roasting, add the feta, greek yogurt, olive oil and seasoning to a belner or food processor. Blend until smooth. Leave in the fridge until the tomatoes have cooled and you are ready to serve. 3. Add the feta dip into a bowl. Top with the tomatoes and any of the juices left in the pan. 12 days of Christmas recipes 🎄 Day 9: gingerbread cake with cream cheese icing 🤎 #ingredients 1 cup apple sauce or mashed banana 2 eggs 1/3 cup olive oil 1/3 cup maple syrup or liquid sweetener of choice 1/3 cup almond milk or milk of choice 2 tsp vanilla extract 2 cups plain flour 2 tsp baking powder 2 tsp cinnamon 2 tsp ground ginger #icing 125g cream cheese at room temp 60g butter at room temp 1 1/2 cups icing sugar #method 1. Preheat oven to 180°c and line an 8×8 baking pan. 2. To a bowl add the apple sauce, eggs, oil, sweetener, vanilla, milk and mix. 3. Add in the flour, cinnamon, ginger, baking powder and mix until combined. Transfer mixture into the lined baking pan. 4. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until cooked. Once cooked let cool completely. 5. While the cake is baking add the cream cheese, butter and icing sugar to a food processor and blend until smooth. Leave in the fridge until the cake is ready. 6. Once the cake has cooled, spread the icing and top with a sprinkle of cinnamon and ginger. 7. Preheat your oven to 180°C and line a 9×9 inch baking tray. 2. In a bowl, combine the softened butter, caster sugar, and brown sugar. Use a whisk or wooden spoon to mix until well combined. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, and mix until smooth. 3. Add the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt into the wet ingredients. Mix until all combined and a thick dough forms. 4. Gently fold in the Christmas M&Ms and chocolate chips, reserving a few to sprinkle on top. 5. Transfer the dough to the prepared baking dish and press it evenly into the pan. Sprinkle the reserved M&Ms and chocolate chips over the top. 6. Bake for 25–30 minutes or until the edges are golden brown. Allow the blondies to cool completely before slicing into 9 larger pieces or 12 smaller pieces. It’s December 1st which means it’s time for 12 days of Christmas Recipes! 🎄 Day 1: Gingerbread Cheesecake Croissant Bake 🥐 #ingredients ingredients needed: 8 small Croissants 250g Cream cheese 2 Eggs 1/2 cup Sugar 1 cup Milk of choice 2 tsp Vanilla extract 1 1/2 tsp Ground ginger 1 1/2 tsp Cinnamon Icing sugar, to serve Biscoff, to serve - optional #method 1. Preheat oven to 180°c and grease a 24cmx24cm baking dish. 2. In a blender add the cream cheese, eggs, sugar, milk, vanilla extract, ginger and cinnamon. Blend until smooth. 3. Cut up the croissants into bite size pieces and add to the baking tray. Pour over the cheesecake mixture. 4. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden. 5. Preheat oven to 200°c and line a baking tray. Add the pumpkin, olive oil, seasonings and mix until all coated. Bake for 30 minutes or until golden then let it cool. 2. Cook quinoa as per directions. 3 ingredient oreo cheesecake bites 🍫 #Ingredients 180g oreos 125g cream cheese 120g chocolate, melted #Method Crush up the oreos and add to a bowl with the cream cheese. Mix until all combined. Roll the mixture into 8 balls and leave in the freezer for 20 minutes. Melt the chocolate and coat each ball. Sprinkle on some extra crushed up oreos (optional) Leave in the freezer for 1 hour to set. Enjoy! spinach and ricotta croissants 🥐 Ingredients needed: 4 croissants 2 cups (loosely packed) baby spinach 1/3 cup ricotta 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese 1 tsp minced garlic salt/pepper olive oil sesame seeds method: 1. Microwave the spinach with a dash of water for 30 seconds or until wilted. Set aside for 5 minutes to cool. 2. In a bowl add the spinach, ricotta, cheese, garlic, salt, pepper and mix. 3. Cut the croissants in half. Spread the mixture on to the bottom of each crossiant then add the top half. 4. Brush lightly with olive oil and sprinkle on some sesame seeds.
