Here’s where I start asking questions ⬇️ What happens to the people who actually get out there, who explore, who camp, fish, and 4wd? Most of them will be shut out. That’s not conservation—that’s exclusion. And let’s talk about management. If these areas aren’t properly funded, invasive species take over, fire risks skyrocket, and what was once accessible bushland either gets locked up indefinitely, all in line with the UN’s 30x30 agenda. I’m all for national parks—done right, they protect incredible landscapes and give people a chance to experience the wild. But there’s a big difference between preserving nature and locking it away. And while Great Northern isn’t funding the shift from state forest to national park, they are supporting land purchases to create new ones. I’ve seen it before—tracks shut, campsites abandoned, and a slow but steady erosion of access. This isn’t about stopping conservation; it’s about making sure it’s done right. Because if we’re not careful, we’ll lose more than just tracks—we’ll lose the ability to connect with the land altogether.
If you’ve already got it, here’s how to get rid of it! The Aussie off road community has gone nuts after Great Northern launched a campaign to support the creation of more national parks, aligning with green groups who want us locked out and making new land unavailable for free camping, hunting, fishing and more. With a swift response similar to what Bud Light faced last year in Australia, Great Northern have been forced to rethink their campaign and have removed it from social media. This is a big win for our community and a clear warning to corporate Australia: go woke go broke. #greatnorthern #lockusout #nomorenationalparks #offroad #wheeling #touring #adventure #gowokegobroke
