I can’t thank my parents enough for the sacrifices they made in leaving everything they knew to come to this country in search of a better life. Because of their courage and determination, my siblings and I have had the opportunity to live a beautiful life and make them proud along the way. Today, tomorrow, and always, I will be proud to be the daughter of immigrant parents, and I pray that the injustices happening right now will soon come to an end.
