To make our documentary, we went back to the basement where it all started and found a beat up box full of old burned CDs and cassette tapes. We listened and realized we had stumbled upon the first demos we ever recorded back in the fall of 1999. It was like a musical time-capsule of our younger selves and it was fascinating to hear them again after more than 25 years. Some songs we ended up re-recording and releasing on No Pads, No Helmets…Just Balls, some others we just kept in the vault…until now! To celebrate our 25th anniversary and the release of “The Kids in the Crowd”, we decided to release a companion soundtrack that includes these old demos, unreleased songs as well as “Nothing Changes”, our brand new single!
