I’ll go first: the day after my dad died I was in a co-op and a random lady, who was eating cheesy Doritos, asked me where the cash machine was in store (in a thick West Country accent). I reluctantly helped her because she thought I worked there. I then told her she had Doritos all over her fingers and that it smelt gross. So she told ME to put HER pin in. She then said “what does it say, have I been paid?” I said fck knows. She said “oh just get a tenner out then”. I withdrew the money for her and as a thank you she gave me a Dorito and said “now get back to work” I said I literally don’t work here and she laughed “happy new year” as she walked off. I hadn’t spoke to anyone since I found out the night before. My friends found me outside eating a Dorito. I don’t eat dairy. They were so confused. As was I. It was like a scene out of After Life. I still think about that woman. #deaddadclub
