I was in the top 1% on YouTube, but I never even knew who the CEO was. But with KICK, I had the chance to fly out, share my vision for the next year—a vision I believed would change the internet forever—and you listened. You believed in me. When I went through a psych ward stay last year, you never hesitated. You kept the contract, and when I returned, you gave me a raise within the first month. You even considered a $100 million deal for the future. I want to say, genuinely, I love you guys, and this message isn’t about you. This is bigger. Tonight, I made a serious promise to myself and my team. I swore to my grandmother, to my mother, and to God that this was my last shot. I told my team: “If you mess up tonight, I retire forever. If I get banned, arrested or sent to a psych ward. I’m done.” Humans make mistakes, but tonight I needed them to be flawless. Within 10 minutes of going live, the settings were wrong. My team, who had assured me we were ready 48 hours ago, hadn’t checked or tested everything thoroughly. The audio was muted for 30 minutes. I lost it under the pressure and ended up saying things I’m not proud of. I know I take accountability for my actions, but the setup broke me. KICK, you unbanned me right after, but banning me at that moment, when I was your biggest star, without even a call or a text… wasn’t right. So, that’s it.
