It didn't fully resonate with me that I was making Umrah until I hung up the phone with my best friend. Her words—"You did it" struck me deeply because I truly did, by Allah’s permission. In that moment, I felt a heavy burden lift from my chest, and all the pain I'd held in my heart just vanished. I wish I could find the words to capture this feeling, but they simply won't do it justice.

Seven years ago, I jumped into an Uber and met a driver who changed my life by introducing me to Islam. He had just returned from a trip to Saudi Arabia, and little did I know that this encounter would lead me to where I am today. Fast forward to now, and I find myself in Saudi Arabia making Umrah with that very Uber driver—who is now my amazing husband. Talk about a full circle moment!
