Sift through the noise and LISTEN to what @Kat Blaque from YouTube is saying, and remember Sam Nordquist & Tahiry Broom🪽🙏🏾 • I also can’t mention videos in my caption for whatever reason but that video of the live is in my reposts from Kat’s page.
Coming from someone—ME—who’s acted like a mf’ing fool & BEEN foolish, I’m asking folks to really reflect. This’ll be the only time I’m talking about this nonsense cause I WILL go back to regular scheduled content trying to uplift mfers because everything around us is scary rn. But truly ask yourselves, what is my goal? Wtf am I doing? These are questions I’ve had to ask and answer to for years and it’s changed me, and allowed me to grow. Some of y’all are falling down pipelines that’ll be hard to dig yourself out of. Get out before it’s too late. Before “foolish” actions become DANGEROUS ONES. And the dangerous people start to attach themselves to your actions.
How…HOW can we get beautiful Black LOVE with 2 beautiful Black couples on the big screen. PLEASE LET US KNOW?! IS THERE A PETITION @Ryan Michelle Bathé
Y'all gotta make up better lies idk • But an unfriendly reminder that any space I am in and any space | create, online or in real life, IS a space for trans women
“Kendrick isn’t a revolutionary” well..yes. So I don’t look at him or other artists who haven’t named to wanna lead revolution as such. I ask other questions. & that doesn’t negate that their art & creations can INSPIRE revolution, expression, etc. Doesn’t negate that they could be inspired BY revolution. And if we’re saying the role of the artist/creative is to be inspired by or inspire revolution, why do we say they co-opting it when they do just that?
