Therapy dogs visit the Children's Hospital 💛 Giving Tuesday is coming up, which is a day to contribute to creating a more compassionate and generous world. You can do this by donating to charities, volunteering, or even random acts of kindness. If you're looking for an organization to support, I'd be honored if you considered @Children’s National Hospital. We've been volunteering here every other week for the past two years, and words can't describe the positive impact that therapy dogs have on the children. I don't think there is anything the world (medicine, therapy, etc) that can bring immediate joy to these children like therapy dogs do. Happy Veterans Day to all who have served and are currently serving!  We appreciate you and all your sacrifices.  For those that don’t know, our Mission to Spread Smiles started from an experience I had while deployed as an Army Chinook pilot. We were fortunate to have a dog, Zac, attached to our unit who’s job was to bring joy and happiness. Seeing his impact is what inspired us to get Ellie, train her as a therapy dog, and attempt to have a similar impact in our local community. This has been an incredible journey and we’re grateful that Emma has joined as a therapy dog too.
