A Chorus Line was the last show I ever did before COVID, and unknowingly, the last time I performed in that capacity on a professional stage before I moved to Italy and started a new chapter. If you know or have ever done this show, then you know it hurts. It’s a marathon from start to finish, a rollercoaster, physically and mentally and emotionally demanding for 2 hours straight. It is hands down one of the hardest things I’ve ever done - and also one of the experiences I treasure most. One of the last lines sung in the show is: “Kiss today goodbye and point me toward tomorrow We did what we had to do Won’t forget, can’t regret, what I did for love” Looking back at them now years later, it’s ironically fitting that this was the last show I did before pivoting my life in a new direction. I was at the point where I hated the industry so much, I was beginning to fall out of love with dance - making the choice to leave and follow another road ensured that the flame of love I have for dance would always stay lit. Won’t forget, can’t regret indeed. Thank you Casey Colgan for giving me the gift to borrow for a short time and for this cast that I was lucky to share it with. I’m forever grateful ♥️💃🏼 . . #achorusline #cassie #dancer
