Three months. That’s all it took for me to know. Some say it’s too soon, but when you know, you know. Time means nothing when love is real even with distance it has never been a barrier for us. To find someone who truly sees you, loves you, and stands by you is a blessing I will never take for granted. Looking back, I know now that with every past relationship that didn’t work out, every heartbreak, and every struggle it led me to him. At the time, I struggled with why things fell apart, but now I see that everything was preparing me for something greater, for a love that is real and beyond what I have ever had before, a love that was meant for me. Of course, not everyone has been happy for us. I’ve faced so much online hate people questioning our love, my choices, and even my worth as a mother. Some say he’s using me for a visa, some say he’s too young, some say, “Why would he want her with all her children?” But the truth is, what we feel for each other goes beyond all of those doubts people have in us because our love is real. They don’t see the late-night conversations, hours on the phone, the way he loves and cares for my children as his own, how effortlessly we love and laugh together or how he stands by me and supports me unconditionally. They don’t see what goes on behind social media. They only see a small part of what I share or the other side of what the people who hate on me say and make up. But that’s all background noise to us because we know our love we know what we have and that’s all that matters. I am so proud to be your fiancée, and I cannot wait to become your wife. Knowing how my children see you as their best friend because of how much you have bonded with them and how much you have made an effort to become their best friend makes my heart whole.
