MAKE FROZEN GUMMY BEARS WITH ME!! I saw @えみり🦔🍎/emiri ASMR do this and I immediately had to try it. She used soda which I didn’t have so I used Spindrift Lemon Limeade and they still came out great! If you use Sprite or 7up I assume they’ll come out sweeter but if you want to try these and are looking to cut back the sugar, Spindrift is a great replacement! All you need to do is soak the gummy bears in your drink of choice in a sealable container in the fridge overnight. (You’ll see how much they grow by the morning!) MAKE YOUR OWN GUMMY WORMS AT HOME! 🪱 Here’s a healthier version of gummy worms that you only need a few ingredients for! Recipe from @Britt Williams INGREDIENTS: (for 20 gummy worms) • 1 cup fruit juice • 2 tablespoons honey, maple syrup, or sweetener of choice • 2.5 tablespoons gelatin • natural food coloring (optional) * You will also need a dropper and silicone worm candy mold INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Add the fruit juice to a small saucepan. Heat over low heat until warm, about 2 minutes. 2. Stir in the honey, maple syrup, or sweetener of your choice. Then whisk in the gelatin over low heat until fully dissolved, about 3 minutes. Allow the mixture to cool 1-2 minutes. 3. To make a single-color gummy, transfer the mixture to a single bowl. To make multi-colored gummies, divide the mixture among multiple bowls, corresponding to the number of colors desired. Add food coloring to each bowl until the desired color is reached. 4. To make a single-color gummy, use a dropper to fill the mold. To make multi-colored gummies, use droppers to simultaneously add 2 colors on opposite sides to the silicone mold. 5. Recipe below: Ingredients: • Sambazon Acai Superfruit packs • banana • pumpkin flax granola (you can buy store-bought, but I made my own using whole-grain rolled oats, flaxseed, avocado oil, maple syrup, pumpkin spice powder and a dash of salt) • pumpkin butter • milk Instructions: 1. Blend your acai base according to the instructions on the Sambazon package (you will need a banana and milk). 2. Pour your açai base into your bowl and then slice a banana and place the slices around the edges of the bowl. 3. Add your pumpkin flax granola in the middle of the banana slices. 4. Scoop about of tablespoon of pumpkin butter into a Ziploc bag and snip the end to form a pastry bag. MAKE YOUR OWN HUMMUS! I never knew how easy it was to make homemade hummus. It tastes just as good (if not better) than the ones in the store plus this recipe leaves out a few of those unnecessary ingredients they include in the store bought ones. Recipe from: @@Joanne + Adam Ingredients: • 1 (15oz) can chickpeas or 1 ½ cups (250g) cooked chickpeas • 1/4 cup (60ml) fresh lemon juice, 1 large lemon • 1/4 cup (60ml) well-stirred tahini • 1 small garlic clove, minced • 2 tablespoons (30ml) extra-virgin olive oil, plus more for serving • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin • Salt to taste • 2 to 3 tablespoons (45ml) cold water or aquafaba • Dash ground paprika, sumac, or Za’atar for serving Instructions: 1. In the bowl of a food processor, combine the tahini and lemon juice and process for 1 minute. Scrape the sides and bottom of the bowl, then process for 30 seconds more. This extra time helps “whip” or “cream” the tahini, making the hummus smooth and creamy. 2. Add the olive oil, minced garlic, cumin, and a 1/2 teaspoon of salt to the whipped tahini and lemon juice. Process for 30 seconds, scrape the sides and bottom of the bowl, and then process for another 30 seconds or until well blended. 3. Add half of the chickpeas to the food processor and process for 1 minute. Scrape the sides and bottom of the bowl, then add the remaining chickpeas and process them until thick and relatively smooth, 1 to 2 minutes. 4. The hummus will likely be too thick and still have tiny bits of chickpea. To fix this, slowly add 2 to 3 tablespoons of cold water or aquafaba with the food processor turned on until you reach the perfect consistency. 5. Taste and adjust as needed. Serve hummus with a drizzle of olive oil and a sprinkle of paprika, sumac, or Za’atar. 6. Store homemade hummus in an airtight container and refrigerate for up to one week. MAKE YOUR OWN S’MORES FOOTBALLS 🏈 These are a great treat for game day that the kids (and adults) are sure to love! Recipe from @Sarah & Jessica INGREDIENTS: • 8 cups Golden Grahams • 5 cups Mini Marshmallows • 1½ cups Chocolate Chips • 5 tablespoons Butter • 1 teaspoon Vanilla • 1 cup Mini Marshmallows • 3 oz White Decorators Icing INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Measure golden grahams out into a large mixing bowl and lay some parchment paper out on the counter. 2. In another large bowl, add 5 cups of marshmallows, 1½ cups of chocolate, light corn syrup and butter. Microwave in 30-second increments, stirring after each one until the mixture is totally melted and smooth. Stir in vanilla. 3. Pour the delicious melted mixture over the grahams, put a little cooking spray on a spatula and gently stir until all of the grahams are coated. Stir in the extra cup of marshmallows. 4. Place spoonfuls of the mixture onto the parchment paper and shape them into footballs with clean hands. 5.
