Literally everyone gets bloated…soo let’s chat about it! Admittedly I’ve felt a bit bloated and puffy the last few days and no I didn’t want to take this picture but I did because the point is bloating is normal (to some extent), our bodies do fluctuate, sometimes we hold on to water etc it depends on so many little things that criticising and hating our bodies for something natural that will pass is kinda not okay, you’ve not got fat, your not allergic to every food and you don’t need to hide away and feel bad or compare to posed pics on socials! Reasons why we get bloated…. ✨digesting!! ✨a bit of air from digesting and your body breaking down foods (sometimes it takes a bit longer or sometimes we eat things that are harder to breakdown or don’t sit to well with us - unless it’s painful and constant it’s probs just normal) ✨being full!! A big meal or a lot of fluids has gotta sit somewhere for a bit ✨being due on your period - hormone changes, holding on to water, bit more airy etc ✨needing the toilet 💩 ✨water retention (too much salt, travelling, not drinking enough, hormones) But honestly - keep looking after your body right, fuel it properly, move, stay hydrated these are all good things, throw on a baggy t-shirt and stop picking yourself apart or choose to ignore it and carry on with the day knowing it’s soo normal, every single person bloats and no one is picking your body apart like you do in your own mind! I kind of hate saying I have bad body image days and don't always feel good in my body.... Because yes my body has changed and yes I'm healthy, have gained weight etc and am no longer that version of me just obsessed with being skinny and weighing less I am still toned and defined and I like my body... Body image and insecurity's aren't based on your size, your weight, they don't disappear if you have abs or lose x amount of weight... I've gained a lot of weight from my smallest, even recently overweight noticed my body had changed and I look healthier, a little less lean and I am the most confident I've ever been in my body, I'm the fittest and strongest I've ever been, I have food freedom, I don't stress over the scales or calories 24/7 and I love my life but I still have moments where I pick my body apart, hate how I feel and how I look in the mirror.... But that passes, body's fluctuate, week to week, month to month, through ditterent phases of your life, seeing your body change isn't bad but body image and moments of feeling rubbish do pass and there never something to let thoughts over rule your mind and change how you see yourself and how you physically treat your body with food and exercise ❤️🩹 #weightgain #gymfit #absworkout #abs #fatloss

Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels…hmm I beg to differ on that one If your idea of skinny and getting to being ‘skinny’ involves stxrving yourself, being weak, exhausted, sad, insecure, losing your periods, hair falling out, losing friends, saying no to fun times, meals and drinks and LIVING…..is that worth it?! Having had an ED this rise of skinny culture (on TikTok, Ozempic, just sh*ty diet culture stuff 😒) is so concerning!!! I gained 12kg or more idk I don’t weigh myself, I have food freedom, body confidence, energy and love the life I have, I’m so happy and full of life where as restricting I was so far from that! girlies STOP doing these things✨If you wanna see results and change from your workouts👇🏻💁♀️ 1. Just doing abs and cardio is not gonna build you a body you love or are confident in.... weights BUILD muscle which along with a balanced diet and some cardio will help you drop body fat too aka make you toned and defined!! 2. Not eating enough!!! Food is fuel! You always wanna eat carbs pre workout and refuel with carbs AND protein plus eating as little as possible actually won't give you the energy to train harder and make progress soo fuel better and find balance don't just eat less! 3. You don't take creatine (nor did I until 3 months ago because I was scared too) but it helps you train better, build lean muscle and recover from sessions! (I done a whole post on this!) 4. You have no days off....you'll burn out, not recover from sessions, not train as hard in the ones you do andd probs end up seeing it as a chore!
