This onion boil recipe is probably one of the easiest viral recipes I've tried this year that's actually worth the hype 🧅 soooo sooo sooo good!! You can also store any leftover butter sauce for later use! Butter sauce recipe: Butter or margarine Minced garlic Old bay seasoning Cajun powder Garlic powder Paprika Chili powder Black pepper Parsley flakes Dried Oregano leaves Chipotle (optional) Cumin powder (optional) Cayenne powder (optional) Soft boiled eggs (optional) Peel onions and scoop out a hole at the top part Heat pan and combine butter with all the spices listed. Keep it on low heat and wait just until the butter is melted, do not let it boil for too long Lay out a sheet of aluminum foil and place onions on top Add butter mixture to fill the holes and add some more for more flavor Wrap tightly with aluminum foil. Bake or airfry for 50 mins to an hour at 170 degrees Pair with rice because we're Filipino duh You can also add some protein like soft boiled eggs or sausages if you like ❤️
Restaurant style bok choy in garlic sauce recipe done in under 30 minutes 🥬 Bok choy sauce mix: 1/4 cup water 1/2 tbsp cornstarch 1 tbsp lee kum kee soy sauce 2 tbsp lee kum kee oyster sauce 1 tbsp sesame oil 2 tbsp shaoxing wine (optional) 8-10 pcs baby bok choy 7-8 cloves chopped garlic Method: Combine all ingredients for bok choy mixture Slice bok choy in half lengthwise and chop the garlic Blanch bok choy in boiling water for 2-5 minutes depending on the size of your bok choy. Do not overcrowd and work in batches if needed In a hot pan with oil, sautee garlic until fragrant and add in the mixture. Add shaoxing wine and simmer until reduced and the sauce becomes thicker Pour sauce on blanched bok choy while it’s still hot, add chili garlic and chopped green onions (both optional) Enjoy over hot rice!@Lee Kum Kee Philippines
