These were the skies yesterday in Linton, VIC. Felt like there were fires around the corner, but was actually the smoke from The Grampians fires 110km away… which could be burning for weeks 💔 Wild how far the smoke goes, to see ash falling from the sky, scary shit. Stay safe this summer, thinking of the Grampians/Halls Gap community & surrounds. PS Vic Emergency app is a good one to gauge proximity and warnings of nearby bushfires.

#ad Opening day at the Tamworth Country Music Festival 🤠 To be transparent, previously when I’d heard of this festival I’d expected the standard gig - a big stage, a few performers and that was that. That is not the case, not one bit. This 10 day festival spans across all the local pubs and venues in Tamworth, with a central hub showcasing performers, buskers and local business. There are a few ticketed events, but majority of the event is free, AND by simply wandering the streets you can stumble across many of the 480 buskers signed up for the 2025 event.
