💥 SAVE this post to refer back to! REMINDER: Only you know your body best - never settle for antiquated, dismissive advice 👊🏼 Ultimately our genetics, auto-immune disorders, certain medical treatments or chromosomal abnormalities can determine when we enter Perimenopause (But that certainly doesn't mean we should feel "set-back" or SUFFER!) Our Plan ⬇️ 1) We ran a full hormone panel Which measures estrogen, progesterone, testosterone, DHEA-s, Cortisol, Vitamin D. Her Progesterone, Testosterone and Vitamin D were sub-optimal according to functional lab ranges (functional lab ranges differ than traditional medical ranges) *Order a full hormone panel from my bio 2) We regulated her circadian rhythm She downloaded the free DMinder app! Plugged in her coordinates and her fitzpatrick skin score so she know exactly when to go outside to watch the sunrise and optimize her Vitamin D stores. She also started a new nightly routine where she ditched screens for reading 3) Depuff + Drain + Regulate She took five minutes every morning and evening to take one action that lowers inflammation, one action that supports lymphatic drainage and one action that regulates her nervous system *check out my D+D+R highlight in my profile 4) Diet I kept it stupid simple and had her consume 1g of protein of her goal weight (130 pounds) = 130g Protein daily. 5) Supplemented with PQQ (Pyrroloquinoline Quinone) PQQ literally creates new mitochondria and protects existing ones, reduces inflammation by downregulating NF-kB, supports memory, mood, cognition and improves glucose handling. Start with 10mg of PQQ/day and titrate up. *I like LIfe Extension PQQ avail in my dispensary ➡️ P.S. If she can go from Peri-miserable to Peri-SMASHING it... so can You WE GOT THIS 🫶🏼 💜 xoxo Dr. LeB #perimenopause #momsover40 #perimenopausesupport #womenover30 #bellyfat #tiredmom
