Bella fought rare disease—and won. “But how, Kyla? She’s not here with us anymore.” Bella won because her life, though far too short, gave doctors and specialists worldwide the knowledge and understanding to better fight rare diseases for the next child. My Bella did that. And because of that, she beat rare disease. Her bravery during her time in the hospital gave doctors insight into multiple rare diseases—knowledge they never had before Bella came into this world.
