Trying the popular Korean recipe - Shin Ramyun Toowoomba using Shin Ramyun. Ad Nongshim officially launched Shin Ramyun Toomba flavour in Korea because the dish is that popular, but for now, as it is not yet launched in UK, I decided to make my own Toowoomba using the below recipe! It's creamy and rich with a nice little kick, it's so so good give this recipe a go: Ingredients👇 1 packet of Nongshim shin ramyun noodles 1tbsp olive oil 1/2 white onion 5 garlic cloves 2 slices of smoked bacon (alternatively you can use shrimp) 100g mushrooms 10g butter sprinkle of pepper 1 cheese slice 2/3 shin ramyun seasoning 300ml milk spring onions for garnish Remove the noodles from the packet and boil in water. To a frying pan add olive oil, onion, garlic, bacon and mushrooms. Fry for a few minutes before adding butter, milk and season with the Shin Ramyun sachet. Add a cheese slice and mix until creamy. Mix in the cooked noodles and top with some spring onions! Slice the onion about a cm thick, pan fry in a little bit of butter over a medium heat until golden and soft. Smash the balls down into patties and cook for a few minutes. Season to taste, flip and cook for a further few minutes. Top with cheese and cover with a pan lid. Add the onions to the middle of the patties. Place the burger buns the opposite way down in the pan. Add some roasted garlic mayo and layer up with the patties, jalapenos and other buns. Follow me for more @jadecarolanfitness Ingredients👇 1 cauliflower 400ml semi milk 20g butter 1 heaped tbsp of plain flour 1tsp olive oil salt black pepper 1tsp paprika 50g extra mature cheddar 50g cheese mix (red cheddar and mozzarella) Fresh chives Chop the cauliflower and place on a baking tray. Drizzle with olive oil and roast for 15 minutes at 200. Add butter to a pan over a medium heat. Turn the heat down, add flour and mix to form a paste. Gradually pour in the milk whilst continuously mixing to avoid lumps. Season with salt, pepper and paprika to add a nice colour. Gradually add the cheese whilst continuously mixing until it melts and thickens. Add the roasted cauliflower to an oven dish, pour over the cheese sauce and place in the oven for around 25 minutes at 200 or until golden and bubbling. Pan fry sliced leek, diced onion and finely chopped garlic in half the butter until soft. Season with salt & pepper. Drain the potatoes, mash and season with salt. Mix through milk and the other half of butter until smooth and creamy. Add the mash to the pan along with all of the cheeses except Gruyere. Add herbs and season to taste. Roll out the puff pastry and cut out the lids. Add the mixture to the pie dishes, top with Gruyere and cover with puff pastry. Secure the edges using a fork. Brush with egg wash and cook in a preheated oven for around 16-18 minutes or until golden. I served it with some herby peppery baked beans and a side salad! Remove them from the pan and place to one side. Pan fry diced onion for a few minutes before adding fresh garlic. Cook for a further couple of minutes before adding the passata. Season with salt, pepper, dried herbs and fresh basil. Add the meatballs into the sauce and place a parmesan wedge in the middle. Cover with a pan lid and leave to simmer. Add butter and salt to the centre of the potatoes. Top with cheese then pour over the meatballs and marinara sauce. Sprinkle with parmesan, top with fresh basil and serve with a handful of rocket. If meal prepping - they will last in the fridge for up to 3 days or you can freeze the meatballs in the sauce for a couple of months. Add sesame oil to a pan, add the cooked veggies, cooked rice, soy sauce and salt & pepper. Add chicken stock to a pan, season with curry powder and five spice. Peel the courgette and place on the kitchen roll to dry out. Pan fry diced onion and garlic in butter for a few minutes before adding the beef. Season with salt, pepper, dried herbs and cook until brown. Add puree, tomatoes, beef stock, and a parmesan wedge if you have one leftover. Add a bunch of fresh herbs and leave on a medium low heat for 20 minutes or so. Combine melted butter with plain flour to form a paste.
